Catch é tornata nei negozi di dischi con "Shake Your Head",
nuova versione del famoso brano dance che fu dei Was No Was. La
bella ragazza inizialmente scoperta e prodotta da Bohlen ora,
dopo vari anni di assenza, torna a incidere dischi e a fare tournée.
Amatissima in molti Paesi europei, soprattutto all'est, CC Catch
é protagonista in molti spettacoli live. Anche in America vi é
un buon seguito. Qui, infatti ha in programma delle seratein
coppia con Thomas Anders dei Modern Talking.
Nel singolo troviamo anche due nuovi brani: Spring e How Does It
Feel.

CC Catch ovvero Catherine Muller, voce tedesca scoperta da Dieter Bohlen, dopo essere stata soprannominata sul finire degli anni '80 la "Disco-Queen", regina della disco, grazie ai molti brani di successo scritti per lei da Bohlen é tornata a far parte dell'ambiente musicale e sta lavorando a nuovi brani da includere in un nuovo cd. Nessuna collaborazione, questa volta, con Dieter Bohlen, il quale viene descritto non proprio positivamente da CC nel corso di un'intervista rilasciata in Germania e pubblicata sul suo sito ufficiale www.cccatch.com
CC, infatti, dice di non sentire Bohlen da molti anni e che lavorare con lui non é mai stato molto facile. "Non avevo - dice CC - nemmeno una minima possibilità di intervenire sui testi o sulla musica delle canzoni".

C.C.: I write my
own music and it is Pop music.
Interviewer: Is the music written by Dieter Bohlen different to
your own music?
C.C.: Yes Of course
I: So this is C.C.Catch music, isn't it?
C.C..:Yes this is my music
I: Where can we see you now in Sachsen?
C.C.: I have some dates in May. I'm touring with a new show from
May to August. I'm giving concerts in Grossenhain (12th May),
Freiberg (13May) and Hoyeswerder (20 May).
I: Here in the radio a lot of people ask for your music in
programs dedicated to classic songs from the 80's
C.C.: Oh, That's wonderful
I: What problem made you take the decission of not working with
Dieter Bohlen anymore?
C.C.: My contract was finished and working with Dieter was not
very easy. A lot of people in Germany know how he is.
I: Is he a macho?
C.C.:(Laughs) I don't know if he is now as I don't keep in touch
with him. I haven't seen Dieter for many years. The problem was
that I desired to have more influence in the music and songs but
dieter said NO. He wouldn't let me!!! That's why we are not
working together anymore.
C.C.: I like
going to the movies. I read spiritual books. I make meditation.
My life is inwards. I like quietness and being alone.
Now, I'm recording in the studio some new demos and I'm really
looking forward to release my own album.
I: When is the
new single comig out?
C.C: We don't know a date at the moment but we hope we release
the new single sometime next fall.
